Traditional bike ride, marking opening of a bicycle season, will be held in Bishkek on March 24. Press service of the Bishkek City Administration reported.
The bike ride will start at 11.30 am from the Monument to the Fighters of Revolution (a monument to Urkuya Salieva), and will end in Victory Park named after Daiyr Asanov at the South Gate.
About 1,000 bikers and sportsmen are expected to participate in the sporting event.
«The bike ride takes place annually since 2006 and is aimed at promoting an active lifestyle, development of mass cycling and alternative transport,» the city administration noted.
