Kyrgyz Pochtasy OJSC has introduced new postage stamps dedicated to the 6th World Nomad Games, as well as the anniversaries of Kasym Tynystanov, Zhusup Abdrakhmanov, and Bubusara Beyshenalieva.
A ceremonial first-day cancellation of the stamps was held on July 2 at the National History Museum of Kyrgyzstan.
The event was attended by First Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy Soyuzbek Nadyrbekov, Deputy General Director of Kyrgyz Pochtasy OJSC Deniz Sulaimanov, descendants of prominent national figures, government representatives, philatelists, and members of the public.
During the ceremony, the new stamps received a special first-day cancellation mark, while honored guests and descendants of the distinguished figures signed commemorative envelopes.
Kyrgyz Pochtasy noted that the release of the new stamps aims to preserve historical memory, promote national cultural heritage, and support the development of domestic philately.
