The Hydrometeorological Service of Kyrgyzstan issued a weather alert as mudflows and floods are possible in mountainous and foothill areas of the country from July 21 to 25.
According to the agency, the risks are associated with expected localized heavy rains.
Residents and tourists are advised to exercise caution, avoid staying in riverbeds and dry ravines, and temporarily refrain from traveling to potentially hazardous gorges.
